    Mission Statement

The mission of St. Mark’s Evangelical Lutheran School is to assist the parents in the spiritual and academic training of their children by proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ on the basis of Holy Scripture and teaching the academic curriculum from a scriptural viewpoint.

All of this we do to the glory of God out of thankfulness and praise as the Holy Spirit works to nurture the children as they prepare for this life and for eternity.

Our school is all about Jesus Christ!

    Enrollment Policy

St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church owns and operates St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran School to serve our member families. Families who are not members of St. Mark's may apply for enrollment of their children after they have met with the School Administrator and the Educational Pastor.

St. Mark’s Evangelical Lutheran School admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, sex, handicap, and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs.

Refer to our Parent Handbook for more information about our Enrollment Policy and other policies at St. Mark's.

    Educational Philosophy

At St. Mark's, we desire to assist in the Christian training of all children, however, occasionally we are unable to meet all cases of special academic, emotional, or behavioral need. For this reason, all students are assessed prior to enrollment to determine special needs and our ability to address these needs.

Families seeking enrollment are to review our Parent Handbook, and meet with our School Administrator. In addition, children will be assessed by the appropriate classroom teacher(s) prior to an enrollment decision being made.

We've designed our enrollment process to be transparent to both the families of our prospective students as well as the school, so that we might work together to create the best education solution for you and your children.

    Fee Assistance

The policy of St. Mark’s congregation is to encourage all of its families to send their children to St. Mark’s Ev. Lutheran School. If there is a lack of financial means for a family, the congregation stands ready to help so that a child will not be denied attendance at St. Mark’s Ev. Lutheran School. The congregation has established a financial assistance program for families that need help with their fees. Assistance forms are available through the school office.
