Church Picnic Committee
Church Picnic Committee
April 21, 2021 | 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Dear Committee Members:
I pray that all of you are well. May the Lord watch over you and bless you with good health. I pray that you are willing to serve as committee members for a very basic and simple Church PIcnic this year. The voters approved for us to move forward in a very simplistic manner for our 2021 Church Picnic. The main focus of the picnic will be fellowship among the St. Mark's members.
The planned picnic would look something like this: Gather for an outdoor church service at the park Have members bring their own lunch We could provide some water and soda (maybe) We could ask the Watertown Taco Trucks to come to the park (just a thought) Children's games would be simple and Covid friendly (or none at all) No Bingo / No prepared food / No prizes or Involved game
What we need to do as a committee is do some very basic planning. It may require a meeting or two. We need to discuss this simplistic picnic concept and make some final decisions about how to proceed.
We would like to meet on Wednesday, April 21st at 6:30pm in the school commons for this discussion. I pray that you can make the meeting and help organize this basic fellowship time at the park in June. One last note. If you hold a Board position at St. Mark's, then a representative of your Board serves on the Church pIcnic Committee along with our faithful lay members. So if you cannot make the meeting, please send another Board representative.
Have a blessed day, Mr. Uttech
